Career Highlights

• Business Development Manager at DeAcero Logisticis, a new division of DeAcero Group. Othon generated sales from 2019 to 2021 for US$7.5M with AAA and SME customers from the industries of: Construction, Food and Beverages, Packaging, Retail, Automotive and Raw Materials. He established the Road Map and Go to Market with a vision for a 5-year term (Where to Play and How to Win). Also designed the methodology for evaluation and segmentation of transportation vendors, with an introduction of 60 new vendors by business segment and volume size, implemented reduction cost plan and synergies with custom brokers and forwarders within DeAcero Group.
• Sales Manager for Transportation Management at Solistics, a FEMSA division for logistics. Othon accomplished sales goals for key accounts and new domestic, international customers for an estimated Budget of US$3M. Consulting project for key customers at their sites and distribution centers (Colgate, Italika, Mondelez, Crown Holdings, Ball Beverage, Absormex).
• Transportation Planning Coordinator at Heineken Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma. He led the implementation of optimization strategies for a fleet, more tan 330 units, in the primary transportation of more than 8,000 shipments during the year.
• Transportation Analyst at Home Depot Mexico. Tariff negotiations with US and Canada for LTL and FTL vendors, generation and follow-up for KPI’s recolection in US and Canada to distribution center in Mexico and coordination for shipments and deliveries for imports, customs brokers and distribution centers of Monterrey.
